Attack On Titan - Part 1/2

Attack on Titan is a Japanese dark fantasy anime television series adapted from Hajime Isayama's 2009–2021 manga series. The series premiered on April 7, 2013, and concluded on November 5, 2023. Animated by Wit Studio for the first three seasons and by MAPPA for the final season, the series aired on Mainichi Broadcasting System and NHK General TV. 

The narrative is set in a world where humanity resides within enormous walled cities to protect themselves from Titans, gigantic humanoid creatures that devour humans without reason. The story follows Eren Yeager, who, after witnessing the destruction of his hometown and the death of his mother at the hands of Titans, vows to eliminate them. He joins the Scout Regiment alongside his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert to fight against the Titans and uncover the mysteries surrounding them. 

The anime's final season was divided into multiple parts, culminating in two special episodes titled "The Final Chapters," which aired in 2023. These episodes were later compiled into a cinematic release titled Attack on Titan: The Last Attack, which premiered in select theaters in 2025. This film provided fans with a seamless and enhanced viewing experience of the series' conclusion. 

Throughout its run, Attack on Titan received critical acclaim for its storytelling, complex characters, and exploration of themes such as freedom, oppression, and the human condition. Its impact on global pop culture was recognized with the inaugural Global Impact Award at the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
