Battlefiled 2: Moderm Combat

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, developed by Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and published by Electronic Arts, is a first-person shooter released for the PlayStation 2 on October 24, 2005 in North America. A console-exclusive spin-off of the PC game Battlefield 2, it features both a single-player campaign and large-scale multiplayer battles. The campaign places players in a fictional modern conflict, with the unique ability to “hotswap” between allied soldiers on the battlefield, adding tactical depth. Its multiplayer mode supported up to 24 players online on PS2, offering expansive maps, a variety of vehicles, and class-based combat. Modern Combat stood out as one of the few large-scale war shooters available on the PS2, bringing the essence of the Battlefield experience to console players.
