Dragon Age: Origins Awakening

Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening is an expansion pack for Dragon Age: Origins, developed by BioWare and released in 2010 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Set after the events of the main game, Awakening follows the player’s character—either the surviving Grey Warden from Origins or a new Orlesian Warden—as they take command of Vigil’s Keep and attempt to rebuild the Grey Wardens in Ferelden. The expansion introduces a new threat in the form of intelligent Darkspawn, including a mysterious creature known as the Architect. It features a new region to explore, new recruitable companions, expanded skill trees, and the ability to import choices from Origins, influencing how the story unfolds. While praised for its deeper character progression and compelling moral dilemmas, Awakening received some criticism for its shorter length and occasional technical issues. However, it remains a significant addition to the Dragon Age universe, bridging the gap between Origins and Dragon Age II.
