Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an open-world action-adventure game released for the PlayStation 2 in 2004, developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. Set in the fictional state of San Andreas, which is inspired by California and Nevada, the game follows Carl "CJ" Johnson as he returns to his hometown of Los Santos after his mother's murder.
