Hellgate: London is an action RPG and first-person/third-person shooter hybrid developed by Flagship Studios and released for PC in 2007. Set in a post-apocalyptic London overrun by demonic forces, the game combines fast-paced combat with deep RPG mechanics, allowing players to choose from six distinct character classes, ranging from high-tech Templars to spell-casting Cabalists. Featuring procedurally generated levels, randomized loot, and a mix of melee and ranged combat, Hellgate: London aimed to blend the dungeon-crawling appeal of Diablo with the intensity of a shooter.
