Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance for PlayStation 2, released in 2002, is a fighting game developed by Midway Games. As the sixth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series, it introduces a darker storyline in which the sorcerers Shang Tsung and Quan Chi form a deadly alliance to conquer the realms. The game revamped the classic fighting system by removing the traditional “run” and “ko” mechanics, adding new combos, and introducing multiple fighting styles for each character, allowing for more strategic combat. Featuring a roster of returning favorites like Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, and Raiden, alongside new characters, the game includes single-player modes, versus battles, and the Konquest mode, which adds a story-driven adventure element.
