Mortal Kombat - Deception

Mortal Kombat: Deception, released for the PlayStation 2 on October 4, 2004, is the sixth main entry in the iconic fighting game series developed and published by Midway Games. Building upon the gameplay of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Deception introduced new features such as interactive arenas, stage fatalities, and multiple fighting styles per character, along with the brutal “Hara-Kiri” self-finishing moves. The game also included several bonus modes, including Chess Kombat and Puzzle Kombat, adding variety beyond traditional fights. Its expanded Konquest mode offered a mix of action-adventure and RPG elements, giving players deeper insight into the series’ lore.
