Prey

Prey is a first-person shooter released for PC in 2006, developed by Human Head Studios and published by 2K Games, with 3D Realms overseeing its production. The game follows Tommy, a Cherokee mechanic who, along with his girlfriend and grandfather, is abducted by an alien mothership known as the Sphere. As he fights to survive and rescue his loved ones, Tommy discovers his connection to his Native American heritage, granting him supernatural abilities such as spirit walking. Prey features innovative gameplay mechanics, including gravity-defying puzzles, wall-walking, and portals that add unique twists to combat and exploration. The game received praise for its engaging story, atmospheric environments, and creative level design, making it a standout title of its time.
