Tomb Raider: Chronicles

Tomb Raider: Chronicles is an action-adventure game released for PC in 2000, developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive. As the fifth installment in the Tomb Raider series, the game follows the presumed death of Lara Croft, with her close friends reminiscing about her past adventures. These stories take players through four unique scenarios, including exploring a Roman dig site, infiltrating a high-tech tower, and uncovering mysteries in a haunted island and a Russian submarine. The game retains the series’ classic platforming, puzzle-solving, and action-packed combat while introducing new moves and items. Although it received mixed reviews for its outdated mechanics compared to newer titles, Tomb Raider: Chronicles provided longtime fans with more of Lara’s daring exploits before the franchise underwent a major reboot.
