Trigun - Volume 1

The first DVD of Trigun, titled "The $60,000,000,000 Man", was released in North America by Pioneer Entertainment on March 28, 2000. This volume includes the first four episodes of the anime series, introducing viewers to the enigmatic gunslinger Vash the Stampede, whose reputation as a walking disaster precedes him. Despite the massive bounty on his head and the chaos that seems to follow him, Vash is revealed to be a compassionate pacifist caught in a violent world. The DVD helped bring Trigun to Western audiences during the early 2000s anime boom and featured English and Japanese audio tracks with subtitles, offering fans an accessible and high-quality introduction to the series. A reissue under the Geneon Signature Series label was later released on January 6, 2004, following Pioneer’s rebranding as Geneon.
