Urban Reign

Urban Reign is a 3D beat ’em up game developed by Namco and released exclusively for the PlayStation 2 in 2005. The game focuses on street fighting and gang warfare, featuring both a single-player story mode and a robust multiplayer option.

Players take on the role of Brad Hawk, a tough fighter hired to restore order in the crime-filled city of Green Harbor. The gameplay emphasizes fast-paced hand-to-hand combat, allowing players to use martial arts moves, grappling techniques, weapons, and environmental interactions.

The game is notable for its extensive 60-mission story mode, over 60 playable characters, and cooperative play that allows two players to team up. It also supports up to four players in multiplayer battles. Namco even included guest characters Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law from the Tekken series, making it a favorite for fighting game fans.
