Wipeout Fusion

Wipeout Fusion is a high-speed futuristic racing game developed by Studio Liverpool and released for the PlayStation 2 on February 6, 2002. As the first entry in the Wipeout series on the PS2, the game takes place in the year 2160 and features anti-gravity ships competing in the FX300 racing league. Players race through sleek, sci-fi tracks at breakneck speeds while using a variety of weapons and power-ups to gain the upper hand. Fusion introduced enhanced graphics, larger and more complex track designs, and expanded customization options compared to its predecessors. It also included a single-player campaign and split-screen multiplayer, delivering both competitive and solo racing experiences. Known for its intense gameplay, energetic electronic soundtrack, and stylish design, Wipeout Fusion continued the series’ tradition of blending speed and combat in a visually striking futuristic world.
