World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is the first expansion for Blizzard Entertainment’s acclaimed MMORPG World of Warcraft, released in 2007 for PC. The expansion opens the Dark Portal, allowing players to travel to the shattered world of Outland and face powerful new threats led by the infamous demon hunter Illidan Stormrage. The Burning Crusade raises the level cap to 70 and introduces two new playable races: the noble Blood Elves and the mysterious Draenei, each with their own unique starting zones and lore.
